Use of AI statement

Our principle

Artificial intelligence can speed up research, drafting and analysis, but it cannot hold values, build relationships, or take responsibility. Every recommendation we give to a client is reviewed, challenged and owned by a human practitioner. If we publish it, we stand behind it.

Where we use AI

• Research assistance: summarising public reports, academic papers and policy documents so we can check sources faster.
• Drafting support: first-pass copy, code, diagrams and workshop materials, always edited for accuracy, tone and your context.
• Data exploration: pattern-finding in datasets we already have or that you provide, with findings validated before they inform decisions.
• Accessibility and language: readability checks, alternative phrasings, and plain-language versions of complex material.

What we do not do

• We do not generate sustainability claims or statistics without tracing them to a source.
• We do not use AI to write client recommendations that have not been reviewed by us.
• We do not feed confidential client information into public AI tools without permission.
• We do not present AI output as original research or field evidence.

Human accountability

Every deliverable, blog post, workshop output and strategy document has a named owner. If something is wrong, we correct it and tell you how it happened. AI is part of the workflow; responsibility is not.
