About
Think Believe Create started from a simple observation: organisations do not fail at sustainability because they lack information. They fail because nobody imagined the future clearly enough, nobody tested whether it was real, and nobody was left holding the plan.
The name
Every project we run moves through the same three stages, and we named the company after them so we could never quietly skip one.
Think is where we workshop, brainstorm and learn — opening the problem up rather than rushing to the answer. Believe is where we run tests and experiments to find out whether the hypothesis holds outside the lab. And Create is the launch: the new idea handed over with an action and implementation plan that someone actually owns.
The process would work in any sector. We apply it to the environment because that is the problem we care most about, and because helping organisations and individuals contribute to it is the most useful thing we know how to do.
The method in depth
We open the problem up. Facilitated workshops, stakeholder mapping and evidence review get everyone looking at the same system instead of their own corner of it.
A hypothesis is not a plan. We design small, cheap, honest experiments and run them with real people, so the idea earns its confidence before it earns your budget.
What survived the tests becomes an implementation plan: owners, sequencing, resourcing and the measures that tell you it is working after we leave.
Three core ideas
Sustainability problems are never isolated. We trace the feedback loops, delays and incentives that keep the current outcome in place, so the intervention lands where the leverage actually is.
Change happens through people. We start with the humans inside the system, prototype with them rather than at them, and iterate until the solution is one they will actually use.
Every piece of work is anchored to a chain from activity to outcome to impact. If we cannot draw the line from what we are doing to the change we promised, we do not do it.
Values
If your target is not achievable, you will hear it from us first. We would rather lose the follow-on work than sign off a plan we do not believe in.
No greenwash, no borrowed credibility, no recycled decks. Every recommendation is traceable to evidence we can show you.
Open methods, open assumptions, open pricing. You see the working, not just the conclusion.
Beliefs
The world needs to change, and the pace of that change is a choice organisations are making right now.
We need to believe in ourselves. Climate paralysis is a belief problem before it is a technical one.
We need to be the change the world needs. Imagine the future clearly enough and you can start building it on Monday.
How we work
Think Believe Create is deliberately small. The person who scopes your work is the person who runs the workshops, designs the experiments and writes the plan. Nothing gets handed down to a junior after the contract is signed, because there is nobody to hand it to.
That constrains how much work we take on, and it is the point. We would rather run a small number of engagements properly than a large number adequately.
Most engagements start with a short, free conversation about what you are actually trying to change.
